Day 263 – Sailboats

Day 263 – 6th April 2011

Arguineguin, Gran Canaria, Islas Canarias –

15.00 GMT – 27° 08’.135N  16° 09’.9W

Hundreds of sailboat jellyfish drifted past, even teensy weensy baby ones that almost looked like bubbles.  A turtle came and went and several big dolphins came and played.  One of them – a real show off, did all sorts of stunts and I sat enjoying the display.  We motorsailed most of the day with barely a breeze and I made the best of the calm seas, getting a bit of sun on my legs.

Breakfast – Tea and muesli

Lunch – Tuna and onion sandwich, ½ chocolate bun

Dinner – Chicken, with a fresh tomato and basil sauce and chilli sauce and pasta

Snacks – Banana, Apple juice, banana pancake and a cold beer
